Key outcome of the KAIA–KICT Korea–Vietnam B2B matching event establishes a foothold in Vietnam’s construction and infrastructure market

BASISSOFT, INC. signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with BAEZENI SOFT CO., LTD in Hanoi, Vietnam, on September 30, 2026, to collaborate on BIM software development, engineering automation, and artificial intelligence (AI) technologies.

The MOU represents a key outcome of BASISSOFT’s participation in the “2026 Korea–Vietnam Business Cooperation 1:1 B2B Matching Event,” organized by the Korea Agency for Infrastructure Technology Advancement (KAIA) and the Korea Institute of Civil Engineering and Building Technology (KICT). Through this government-supported international business development program, BASISSOFT identified opportunities for technical collaboration with local companies and expanded its network to support entry into Vietnam and the development of overseas sales channels.

The agreement draws on the technical capabilities and experience of both companies to advance BIM modeling and technical cooperation across the building and civil engineering sectors. The two companies will explore joint initiatives focused on BIM software development, engineering workflow automation, and AI applications.

Founded in Bangkok, Thailand, in 2007, BAEZENI is a network of companies specializing in BIM, 3D engineering, and software development, with Hanoi serving as a major development hub. Its services include BIM modeling, CAD-based engineering support, custom software and engineering software plug-in development, and 3D visualization and virtual reality solutions. BAEZENI Soft has established local relationships in infrastructure engineering and BIM through technical exchanges with Vietnam’s Transport Engineering Design Inc. (TEDI) and academic partnerships with Can Tho University and Hanoi University of Mining and Geology.

Under the MOU, BASISSOFT and BAEZENI Soft plan to pursue technical exchanges and explore ways to improve engineering efficiency through BIM, automation, and AI technologies. The companies will also develop collaboration models tailored to Vietnam’s technical requirements and local engineering practices.

During the event, BASISSOFT also successfully conducted one-on-one business matching meetings with several prominent Vietnamese construction and engineering companies, discussing potential technical partnerships and business opportunities. Together, the MOU and these business engagements have established a strong foothold for BASISSOFT’s entry into Vietnam’s rapidly growing construction and infrastructure market. Building on its proprietary BIM and engineering automation technologies, BASISSOFT plans to expand local partnerships, develop overseas sales channels, and accelerate its international market expansion.
