BasisSoft, PLAXIS API-Based Soft Ground Automation Technology Presentation at “Year in Infrastructur…
On December 9, 2025, BasisSoft was invited to deliver a technical presentation at the “Year in Infrastructure 2025 – Going Digital Awards Regional Recognition Korea” seminar hosted by Bentley Systems.YII (Going Digital Awards in Infrastructure) is Bentley Systems’ flagship international event that recognizes and awards outstanding projects carried out over the year using Bentley software in the global infrastructure and construction engineering sectors. It attracts significant attention every year as a platform for sharing the latest technology trends and innovation cases in the global infrastructure industry. The Korea regional event was organized as an extension of YII, featuring presentations by leading domestic companies on real-world project applications of Bentley software. Bentley Systems also unveiled its roadmap for next-generation product upgrades and technology development incorporating AI, highlighting the future potential of digital infrastructure. At this event, BasisSoft CEO Junsang Ahn delivered a presentation titled “Automation of Soft Ground Consolidation Analysis Based on Bentley PLAXIS API,” introducing a soft ground design automation program developed using Python. This solution is built on the PLAXIS API to enable more efficient soft ground design and is particularly characterized by its automated analysis and design capabilities optimized for very soft ground conditions. Through this presentation, BasisSoft once again demonstrated its technological innovation capabilities in the field of digital geotechnical engineering.

Participation at KSCE 2025 CONVENTION & CIVIL EXPO
Participation at KSCE 2025 CONVENTION & CIVIL EXPO - Venue: Cheongju OSCO Convention Center- Dates: Wednesday–Friday, November 12–14, 2025- Booth Locations: C07 (BasisSoft) / D11 (EASYROAD) C07 | BasisSoft Booth BasisSoft presents its Drone–BIM integrated solution that enhances efficiency across the entire project lifecycle—from design and construction to maintenance—by integrating drone-acquired field data into a BIM environment. High-resolution aerial imagery (Photogrammetry) and LiDAR scan data collected by drones are processed into orthophotos (Orthoimages), point clouds, and 3D terrain models (DTM/DSM). These are then combined with our BIM integration software to support a practical workflow for accurate terrain analysis, volume calculation, design review, and construction monitoring. This solution enables improved quality control and process efficiency across various infrastructure sectors, including roads, civil works, and facility management, and can also be applied to implementing digital twins based on real-world site data. At the BasisSoft booth, we will also showcase our 3D ground model–based data management and numerical analysis integration solution. You can explore an end-to-end workflow—from geotechnical data management to analysis and modeling—through on-site consultations with our experts.  D11 | EasyRoad Booth At the co-located D11 booth, you can also experience EASYROAD, a Korean road design BIM solution that fully reflects domestic road design standards. We look forward to seeing you at the KSCE 2025 Convention & Civil Expo, at the BasisSoft booths C07 and D11, as well as at the Korea Expressway Corporation booth. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us. Thank you.

BasisSoft Conducts BIM-Based Industry–Academia Collaboration Training with the KEPCO International N…
BasisSoft (co-CEOs: Jason Choi, Julian An) has delivered a special lecture on Building Information Modeling (BIM) at the KEPCO International Nuclear Graduate School (KINGS), Korea's sole graduate institution specializing in nuclear power. The lecture was presented to students enrolled in the 'Nuclear Power Plant Project Management Course,' led by Professor Wooyong Jung.KINGS was jointly established through an endowment from five major Korean nuclear public corporations, including KEPCO and Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power (KHNP). As a 'small but strong' institution, KINGS is dedicated to cultivating the next generation of leaders for the global nuclear industry through a practice-based curriculum and a robust global network of cooperation. The university plays a pivotal role in training professionals not only for the domestic but also for the international nuclear sector. It contributes significantly to building the foundation for the nation's nuclear power plant exports. The six-hour special lecture was conducted entirely in English, aligning with the school's policy, and was co-presented by BasisSoft and its Singapore subsidiary, BasisSG.Arnold Park, Managing Director of BasisSG, delivered a comprehensive, in-depth overview of the latest BIM and Digital Twin technologies across the entire project lifecycle—from planning and design to construction, operation, and maintenance (O&M).Following him, Director Jangyub Ma discussed the latest BIM trends from Singapore, one of the leading countries in diffusing BIM, and shared an introduction and practical case studies on ISO 19650-based BIM management from the project owner's perspective.Additionally, Senior BIM Manager Hoon Jang led a hands-on practice session with Autodesk Navisworks Freedom. This session, which demonstrated how to enhance the practical application of BIM for project owners, was met with great enthusiasm from the students.BasisSoft anticipates that this special lecture will contribute significantly to accelerating the digital transformation of Korea's nuclear industry and enhancing the efficiency and productivity of project management. The company remains steadfast in its commitment to advancing industry-academia collaboration by providing tailored education and technical support.

The “Highway BIM Design Using EasyRoad” Training Program Successfully Held
From April 3rd (Thu) to 4th (Fri), the two-day training program titled “Highway BIM Design Using EasyRoad”, hosted by the Korea Engineering Association, was successfully conducted. This course was designed to help participants understand the core concepts and principles of full-scale highway BIM design using BIM solutions. It focused on hands-on learning of how to create quantity takeoffs and final deliverables in accordance with Korea Expressway Corporation (KEC) standards. In particular, the program emphasized strengthening practical skills using EasyRoad, a domestic BIM solution developed based on Korean road design standards, enabling participants to directly apply the training to real-world design tasks.Participants who completed this program are officially recognized as “BIM Training-Certified Engineers” when evaluated under the KEC’s BIM-based design review system, providing a significant boost to their professional qualifications and competitiveness. The training drew participation from a wide range of engineers, including active highway design professionals, and concluded with great enthusiasm. Attendees expressed high satisfaction with EasyRoad’s intuitive interface and powerful parametric design capabilities.BasisSoft will continue to support the enhancement of BIM capabilities in the road design field through ongoing training programs and technical support.Thank you.
