On August 20, BASISSOFT hosted the first open seminar of the second half of 2026 for 2026 BUGS (BIM User Group Seminar) at its headquarters.

This marked the seventh event of the year, with four more seminars scheduled through the end of December.

The session was held under the theme "Road Design and Utilizing EasyRoad," with Yoo Ja-young, Team Manager at BASISSOFT, presenting the key features and application directions of EasyRoad 1.0, a solution optimized for domestic road design standards.

EasyRoad is designed around an intuitive UI aligned with the road design process and a task-sequenced tree structure, improving design efficiency.

It also applies domestic road design standards and parametric design, allowing flexible responses to design changes, and connects BIM-based 3D design with drawing and quantity deliverables in a single continuous workflow.

The seminar was organized as an opportunity to explore how BIM and EasyRoad can be applied to real-world road design work amid a rapidly changing design environment.

BUGS's open seminar series will continue in the second half of the year with a range of topics, including surveying using drones, LiDAR, and laser scanners, ISO 19650, and updates on smart construction projects — your continued interest and support are welcome.

Registration for the open seminars is being accepted through the Naver Cafe 'BUGS Man' — interested participants are encouraged to apply.
